  22. Why is so much attention given to the custom chips? They are not necessary 
  23. for an Amiga emulator - for that matter  they are not necessary in a real Amiga!

  25. My A2000 (40MHz 030) hardly uses the custom chips at all these days. Video
  26. is handled by the PicassoII (using a Cirrus Logic chipset found on many
  27. slightly older PC SVGA cards). Serial / Parallel I/O by my multiface III
  28. card. The only bit that still gets used is Paula for the sound!.

  30. I still consider my computer to be an Amiga even if I make no use of the 
  31. custom chips for running 90% of my software.

  33. I am sure that alot of people interested in using the system as a serious 
  34. platform would be very happy with a Draco system instead of an older and
  35. slower fully compatible "real" Amiga.....
